So it turns out I didn't have the proper understanding of what a Remix is for fic. XD Instead, I ended up editing a fic from a few years ago.  Since my initial posting of it, either in response to prompts or inspiration, I've written what are essentially a prologue and epilogue for the original piece and posted those to my Tidbits space.  I've wanted them to be all one piece for a while so, since I knew I had a busy month ahead of me, I decided to do a bit of reworking and light editing to knit things together properly.

Next up is this year's Jedi June!  I know how many ideas I'd like to shoot for, but I'm not sure if I'll make it.  I do love how spaced out the event is, though, it makes it feel more manageable. :D

I went a little crazy this month; I set out hoping to do four of the prompts for the Jedi June appreciation month, which felt pretty ambitious to begin with. But then—with two of them being older art I had—I ended up hitting all eight instead. ^-^; I don’t think I’ve ever written so much Gen fic so close together. XD

For Compassion:
I added some more commentary on Not This Time, an Ahsoka/Vader piece I did a while ago.

For Lightsaber:
A repost of a piece I did of Anakin’s lightsaber while under the influence of Placebo’s “Every You Every Me.” XD

For Teaching/Learning:

Obi-Wan stops at Illum for a new kyber crystal on the way back to Coruscant after the events of The Phantom Menace, and gets a surprise from his new padawan.

More than once I found myself unintentionally combining themes. Sometimes that was because a fic started out as one and then, as it developed, I realized it actually fit a bit better for another. Sometimes the blend just came naturally. The second to last fic I posted was actually the first I finished. XD But it was an idea I’d already been playing with for a while.

I had a lot of fun, though I don’t know if I’d try to go this hard again. (Though, in fairness, I didn’t originally intend to this time either.) I’m going to try and take it easier in July to rest up a bit. XD
